Hi

I own a property in the Alicante region. I’m now told although I’m good enough to pay my bills in Spain on my property I’m only allowed to come and visit it for 90 days in a 180 period!

I didn’t vote for brexit and even if I did this situation is outrageous .

If Spain wants to standby these ridiculous rules then so be it our place will be on the market.!

I’ll keep our hard earned money in the U.K. and stay at home x

This is an EU wide ruling so don’t blame Spain for it, the UK decided to leave the EU so cannot expect to still benefit from the advantages of being a member.

As already said by Paolo 51, this rule has always existed for non EU countries.

God bye, enjoy your new life in the UK.

(I) always look on the bright side......Amazingly no one seems to be happy with Brexit - so who voted for it, and when will they ever learn?

V, It's supposed to be done and dusted, irreversible etc, etc but some posters seem to think if they moan about it on a Spanish forum things will change.......

Their attention should be aimed at the UK government.....

Moan at the hypocritical supporters of Brexit who have kept the freedom of movement they worked so hard to remove from the rest of us. They have handy EU passports. A few for starters- Aaron Banks, Kate Hoey, Gisela Stuart, Daniel Hannan, Daniel Kacwizinski, Marc Francois, all the members of the DUP, Michael Gove, Nadine Dorries, Esther McVey. Oh, and Michael Farage's kids.
