I think you might find that the desire by Brits, or anyone else for that matter, to “drink and party” is relatively limited. You may find a few like minded souls, but by and large, people are probably rather cautious.

I think it is the national and city police in benidorm. Guardia is for the country side and roads.

Start at Morgan’s tavern (bottom of Rincon/before ave Mediterranean) and head for the old town. You’ll find no want of friends with the same frame of mind and idea of a holiday you’re seeking.
We be in Benidorm every year but it’s an area we avoid and seldom even walk through I’m afraid.
