Alicante Airport is open, however airlines are still cancelling some flights due to the small number of people wanting to travel and allowing you to rebook on other flights for big money, numbers are low because people will have to quarantine for 14 days on their return to the UK, in Benidorm many of the hotels are closed or closing until March 2021. I heard one guy on a Spanish radio station this morning saying parts of the area popular with Brits was like a ghost town although the Old Town was still busy with Spanish people.

Benidorm has no airport. Nearest is Alicante.

John we are flight only. We go self catering every November.

Our booking page still says online booking opens in 15 days.

So can I still have hope for going?

Hopefully you will be able to come and enjoy Spain, you will have to wear masks everywhere when out, the rule in bars and restaurants is you can take the mask off when bums are on seats, hand sanatisor on entry to bars, restaurants and shops. Covid-19 cases in Valencia / Alicante Province are among the lowest in Spain, many have commented they feel safer here than in the UK.

Hi  Seen this offer for  Hotel Venus in Benidorm

This offer includes:
  • 7-night stay at the Servigroup Venus 3 * Superior Hotel.
  • Full Boardwith water and wine included
  • Personalized medical attention by Hospital IMED Levante.
  • Parking area.
  • 50% discount for selected drinks in the hotel bar **.
  • 10% discount on the Economy Connect transfer service to and from the airport with Beniconnect.
Offer price: € 290 per person

You previously said about going self catering, if you can reconsider as a lot of restaurants and bars haven't opened this winter, at least if you booked the above offer you could opt out of a few evenings and go and explore Benidorm.  The hotel also gets good reviews too.

Just a suggestion for you, have a lovely time whatever you decide   Gillian
