Hello
As you want to travel this week you need some very last minute up to date information.
I think you should visit a travel agent for help with both flights & accommodation. You may not get any replies on here and you really have no time to waste if you are coming for a birthday.
Cheers

Avoid flying to Murcia/Corvera - NEVER, use Alicante instead.

We used to stay in the Avenida apartments or you could try the Avenida Hotel. Well placed in the old town.

Voramar Hotel in the old town is very good and fantastic location, very close to Poniente Beach.
Looking at flight prices, you’ll need to shop around, prices are going up very quickly, and some flights sold out already, on most of the budget airlines.

Manchester is the most popular destination served from Alicante Airport with 36 flights per week, therefore you should have plenty of choice. There is a plethora of hotels in Benidorm Old Town and I recommend you do a general search via ww.trivago.co.uk and filter your search to the Old Town area. There are a few very nice boutique style hotels, for example, Hotel Fetiche (very quiet with sound proof rooms), Hotel Castillo, Hotel Rocamar etc. I hope you enjoy your first time in Benidorm and staying in the Old Town will provide you with a really excellent experience of what Benidorm has to offer.
For flights check out www.skyscanner.net. or another comparison website.

We prefer Old Benidorm had couple of nights at Hotel El Palmeral just before last Christmas. Lovely clean room , good buffet breakfast and only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. There was roadside parking but we paid for parking within the hotel.
