Hi, I hope it's ok to post a message about finding a forever home for a beautiful eight year old female cat, but I have tried lots of Things:  asking people,  advertised in The Euro Weekly and posted on Face book but no luck.  Basically I have been feeding her twice a day for years on the outskirts of Benidorm but I am moving soon and she will have no one.   I know she would settle in a loving home which has a garden.   She is used to living alone.   She is friendly and affectionate and would make a wonderful companion.   If you, or someone you know,  could offer her a forever home it would be wonderful.   She has sadly never had one.   I would be happy to tell you all about her.

Hi

Awww had to reply although I'm in the UK and very regrettably unable to help. However, please keep trying as I completely understand your dilemma and so wish I could just take Fluffy!!

It's heart rending when you feel they've become reliant on you for food a bit of love and affection, believe me I've been there many a time.

I wish you all the luck and anyone reading my reply

PLEASE PLEASE open your heart and your home to this vulnerable little kitty...

Best wishes

Linda

Thank you so much,  what a lovely message you sent.  It would be heart breaking to just leave her and I will keep trying.   I know if I were in England I could find her a home, but it is so difficult here in Spain...there are so many that need a forever home.   I am going to do my very best..and will post if she has a home.   Big prayers that it will be soon.  Many, many thanks again for your very kind thoughts. Xx

Hi

Yes you are so right. Spain can be difficult for kitties to find forever homes as we see it. I  have experienced alot of good will and care towards them from around Spain from the Spanish. They I suppose co exist with them on another level at times, and very often leave water and food around more than we do in the UK. I think perhaps it's just a case of having different outlooks.. We Brits can be a little too protective if we're cat lovers which may blinker our ability to allow them freedom to be be themselves as animals.

Of course I don't and can't live by that!! Hahaha

Please keep updates. Little poppet she looks!!!

Thanks for your message.   It's kind of you. The problem is that Fluffy has only had food from me and no one else, so I have to find her a home before I go because she will not be fed, bless her.   She is a little poppet, you're right...she deserves a home.   Will keep you posted and do hope there will be good news soon.

Hi Mary

I have made enquiries via email at an expat community in Bendorm as Im sure you have mabe already reached.

I downloaded your picture of Fluffy and sent it to them, with a commitment that I'd pick up the fees from the UK for basic vetenerary treatment to get her initially settled if someone were to commit to  her care. Ispecified time was of the essance as she would soon be fending for herself after years of regular food and affection from a kind woman ,despite living on the outskirts of Benidorm.

Her photos says it all!!!

I will get in touch if I get a reply from anyone and pass on yours or their details.

I hope you don't mind!!!

Kind regards Linda Cherry

Oh my goodness you are so kind.  Thank you so much.   Wow, it would be fantastic if someone adopts her and gives her a loving home.  I will let you know. I am so grateful to you for passing her details on and I will let you know if anyone contacts me.  I do hope they do.  She is a lovely cat.

My absolute pleasure! I pray someone will take her.

Goodnight, I'm aware it's late.
