Can anyone offer me an opinion on the Camping Raco site in Benidorm please.

We are looking at coming over with our caravan to spend the winter and have read on Facebook about the sites in the area and camping Raco seems to fit the bill as they accept pets, we have a little dog. If anyone has stayed there we would appreciate any feedback either good or indifferent.

I am aware of the other sites but have never spent any time there in a campsite. We prefer to stay in one site once we have arrived.

Many thanks in advance.

Thank you for the reply.

We arrive in Spain on 22nd Nov by ferry and will make our way down. We intend to spend to around May. It will be our first time to travel in Spain with the caravan.

I assume that you do know about the 90 day rule for UK passport holders?

You may want to read the contents of this link before making definite travel plans. This is assuming you are UK passport holders:

Even as EU passport holders you cannot stay in Spain legally over 90 days.

If you want to stay in Spain longer than 90 days you must sign on the foreigners register at the local National Police Station. You must show proof of income and full healthcare.

A one day break sorts that issue. We will be flying home monthly for family visits.

Bringing the query back on topic:

Any other recommendations for at sites that permit pets in or around Benidorm?

La-Toretta (beside Benidorm Palace) seems on paper to be OK, but FB posts are not really as good as other sites.

May need to look at sites further out.

Any other feedback positive or otherwise would be welcome.
