Hi Alex

Want to thank you for adding me to your forum, very insightful and informative. We are coming to Spain in February for a week to look at purchasing a caravan. Do you or any of your members know of any caravan sites just outside of Benidorm that we could look at.Most grateful for any assistance.Kind regardsMike Riley

Lots to consider.

Only some allow pets (if that’s a consideration)

Camping El-Raco. (300 metres past benidorm palace) **Recommended **

Camping Toretta . Beside benidorm palace

Camping arena Blanca. 400 metres past benidorm palace

Camping Benidorm. 600 metres past benidorm palace (cheapest & a good small site)

Camping Armanello . 200 metres past the ITV centre, opposite side

Camping Benisol. Up beside El-Cisne Rasta market.

all of the above allow pets. All except Armanello reachable on the #10 bus route.

there is also camping villimar

Camping villasol

They do not allow dogs.

choose your pitch very wisely, while it’s lovely to be in an unshaded pitch in winter it will be horrid in the height of summer. Factor what side of the street you want to be on!… sounds silly but important if you want early sun.
facilities, what’s on offer?

Costs? Yearly pitch fees (circa 5000 euro). Changeover fees? Electricity costs are very expensive, budget 50 cent per kw/h. Wi-Fi?

It’s a nice community oriented lifestyle, just left Camping Raco yesterday en route to Portugal after spending almost 4 months there …. In my opinion (from what I’ve experienced) camping El-Raco is the best site in the area and the one I return to annually. We are slightly different as we stay there in a Motorhome and not on a fixed unit.

enjoy your search and don’t forget to let us know how you got on.

Hello..i am on camping raco  and it allows pets.i would say raco is the best site and the cleanest.it is also facing all the  bars and restaraunts which is directly facing the site. The management and staff r lovely and cant do enough for u.i have been there 5 yrs and love it. There are many sites to look at.it all depends in what you want.good luck in finding ur happy place.
