I own a plot on a camping site and have now been informed I will be allocated 6 pool wrist bands free of charge, as I have a large extended family who are always visiting me they are been asked to pay 4.50 euros per day, is this legal??????

Blunt but true, you play by the site owners rules - or you go elsewhere.
FWIW as such things go six free passes sounds about normal and represent the average family plus two guests.

I think your post says it all, you have a LARGE family who are ALWAYS visiting you but pay nothing towards the cost of the facilities they are using. I think 6 free pool wrist bands is very fair.
