I have received some great facts and information on this forum, but I really want to print the replies off and go through them with a hi lite pen and start a file as I find this site a little difficult to navigate. Can this be done?

The simplest solution would be to open a txt file on your desktop or lappy (right click anywhere on the desktop, scroll down the menu to 'New... ' and click on 'TXT file' which will create an empty file (called New Text Document, which you can rename to whatever you want).

Open it, and leave it open, then go to the comment you want to keep and highlight it. Right click on the highlighted text, scroll down to 'copy' and click it.  Go back to the new text file, right click anywhere in the open file and choose 'paste'. You can then close the file and it will ask if you want to 'save changes'.

You can then re-open this file at any time and add more text from other comments you wish to keep at a future time. You just need to 'Save changes' each time you do this. This text file can then be printed

Good afternoon Steve. I always assume that if someone is asking for advice on subjects like this, they have limited knowledge of the mysterious ways of computers. If I wanted advice on changing a tap washer, I'd hope for similarly easy to follow instructions 😉

It was the latter. Sorry. However, it is well written up and I WILL give your method a go. In the short term I just took a screen print of all the replies and emailed them to myself. It occasionally misses a line or two out but it’s no great hassle to just write them in afterwards. Cheers tho!
