Is it a modern way to not finish spelling out words in postings?
Is it a Facebook or Twitter thing?
Maybe it's just me (or laziness of the author) but it can be annoying and the posters shouldn't expect everyone to second guess the meanings.

Hurrah & thanks Steve for bringing this up. I've no idea why people do it, some dont even complete their name. Loads of unfinished sentences with part words which irritate me, it's like a quiz. I wondered if it was a 'forum' thing as I only belong to one other but it doesn't happen on there!

FYI On my iPhone if I don’t leave several spaces after the last word I post it is unintentionally truncated. May just be an iPhone feature.
It's still very annoying that posters can't be bothered to finish off their words.......
Why is it that the last word of their posts are truncated?
Are posters that lazy that they can't type the last two or three letters of the last word......strange 🤔

I hate it too. Sometimes there are several options to what the words could be, recently someone ended a post----exp.....How many choices to that, it's like a quiz?
Another example was a post saying thanks. The poster put Thank, then on his reply Than & on his last post Tha !
Someone can post a really intelligent, eloquent question/answer but still leave the end of the post incomplete.
Is it a 'forum' thing (I'm only on this one) does it happen on Facebook (I'm not on there at all)? Would like to know ...complete words only please
