Hi, You need to have a fact finding holiday here and look around for the best area that suits you. Do some research into the legalities of living in Spain such as getting your NIE number (you need an NIE number for various reasons including opening a bank account, Registering your child into school and even to sign for any parcels or registered post etc) and arrangements for full healthcare cover for yourself and any dependants plus enough income so not to become a burden on the state.
You may be required to have a Spanish bank account before you can sign for any rental agreements on apartments or caravans.
There is no benefits system for child allowances etc here as there is in the UK.
Have you enquired about schools for your child?
Living in a caravan may look good on the tv series but they can be stifling hot throughout the summer months and freezing cold in the winter. The costs of living on a caravan site can easily add up to the same price as renting a 2 bedroom apartment.
Employment is very difficult to get unless you can prove you have an NIE number and are fully legal before they will employ you. Bar work or cleaning etc are usually taken by family and friends of the owners. You will need to work long hours to achieve a decent income as most bar work is minimum wage which I think is lower than the UK. A lot of bar staff are laid off throughout the winter months.
Can you speak Spanish good enough to understand safety requirements and regulations for any employment?
After Brexit requirements for entry into Spain may differ from now.
If you navigate to the bottom of this page you will see a section called "Jim's Guides" click on there and you will find all you need to know and probably all your questions answered!!
Anyway......Good luck.
