Hello to all,

my name is Tim, am seeking advice on Health cover / National health requirements for myself. I'm 60 yo and looking to relocate to the Benidorm are one day

. I understand there have been a number of changes since Brexit.

I'm a first time user on here.

Big thanks,

Tim.

Irrespective of Brexit, you'll have to buy full-cover private health insurance, as well as meeting the proof of finances, before you're allowed to stay in Spain.

Hi Tim, as Grahame said, see my guides. Many of them, including that for residency, need updating, but if you read the one re residency it will give you an overview of what's required. The finance figures need updating, plus I'm rewording a lot of it. I can't finish it until the website links for appointments etc are up and running again.

Nobody yet knows what the requirements will be after the end of the Brexit transition period, but others of my guides cover the possibilities.
