Hi myself and 7 others are coming to stay at Rio Park in September.

We are all over 70 and some over 80.

My sister and her friend arrive about 2am and they are worried about the safety from getting off the coach to getting to the hotel.

We have a general worry about safety when we are out and about.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank You Mary.

About 60% of holidaymakers in Benidorm nowadays are over 50 yrs old. So if you keep away from the Street where all the idiots congregate (I.e. Calle Gerona and the Square) you will all be safe. Loads of places to have a nice drink or meal local to the hotel. If you go into the old town its fantastic there,  especially the "Balcon" area but expect to get a taxi back to your hotel at night-time. Keep together and make sure your handbags are secure at all times, but don't worry, crime against the person in Benidorm is very low.

Enjoy Benidorm and you will want to come back again!!

I imagine that you have all taken travel insurance.

Cheers, J
