I am coming over to benidorm 17thAug is it opened up yet our still a lot of restrictions.

According to a report from my roommates brother, sister and young ones from last weekend - Benidorm is almost all Spanish with a few scandis, germs and dutchies/belges.
Your talking more than a month away though. Anything can and probably will change.

Yes I agree with RayBenidorm......
I've just had a wander around the old town, along Lavante beach and partially through the Rincon area and its packed with all nationalities apart from Brits!!!!! Hardly a British accent to be heard.
Half the town has roadworks or building projects going on. Most of the bars in the club area are still closed up and looking derelict. The whole place is looking down and out!!
Maybe things will change within a month but I wouldn't put money on it.
Most of the restrictions are lifted but its still compulsory to wear masks in crowded places where social distancing can't be maintained, when entering shops , bars and restaurants until you are seated. Always carry a mask with you at all times.
