Holiday in October

We stayed in the hotel brisa in March this year and rebooked for October this year.Do you think the bars and restaurants will be open as usual, or has covid put a stop to things? Cheers-Bar

I think that what has put a stop to the bars etc., being open is that the tables have to be spaced at least 2 metres apart. Most bars in Benidorm are small and probably not able to do this and get sufficient people in to make it worth their while opening. Don't think it will be any different. Check if you hotel is actually open. I have just had a Benidorm holiday cancelled as the hotel will not be open until April 2021!!!

Here in Benidorm there are a lot of the bars along the Lavante beach prom that are closed. Some however, are closed during the daytime and open later in the evening but now of course must close at 1am. There are some bars that open all day but are almost empty. I went past the Daytona bar and saw that it had all the doors fully closed, which I'd never seen before!!
The club area down Calle Gerona is like a ghost town day and night 😐 although a couple are trying to attract customers in but nobody is about.
Please come and give it a good go and spend plenty of money. Please wear your mask and stay safe.

Thanks Steve, we’re booked into the Brisa Hotel on lavante beach from October 10 for one week. Let’s hope it’s still open and a few bars for us to spend our money. Cheers-Barr
