Hi.. I'm Chris.. Early 40s (chap) am visiting Benidorm arriving Xmas day.. Will I be able to bring food on plane in checked luggage as conscious many shops will not be open?
On another point.. Will many bars/pubs be open Xmas day. Any ex pat get together etc.. Am visiting by myself

No need to bring anything unless something special like Yorkshire pudding, shops will be open - some 24/7. Find cheap booze at the "Wine Barrel" - various outlets. Food from home at "Iceland" across Benidorm Palace. Enjoy.

Chris I just brought my turkey ham and Brussels sprouts in my hand luggage over via Alicante airport-caused a few laughs with security but I had already bought them before I knew we were coming and it’s hard to get them where we are x-have brought numerous food items and never had an issye
