Benidorm does have covid as does anywhere else in the world. The covid problem is under control by means of vaccination etc.
Don't worry and come and enjoy your holidays.

Covid is not under control by means of vaccination. You are just as likely to catch and spread it whether you are vaccinated or not.
There is absolutely no justification for Spain's continuing travel restrictions based on vaccination status.

You still have to wear a mask inside of shops, hotels and on public transport.. Outside you do not have to but people still do.
Make sure your travel insurance covers "covid" or you could be in for a big bill on release from hospital.

Was in Germany last week.
Very stringent measures still there, masks are worn by everyone where crowds congregate, mandatory showing of vaccine certificates accompanied by passport when dining in restaurants.
Covid is by no means over, contained by means of ‘covid treatments’ (not a vaccine, by definition a vaccine stops the disease… this ‘vaccine’ clearly does not, therefore I define it as a treatment) … but it does prevent a ‘more’ serious infection in most cases.
but, I would still continue with my plans to travel, we need to begin to live and have a more normal existence once again.
By all means go on your trip, but be sensible and take precautions as you deem fit.
Enjoy.
