We are hoping for some advice from all you lovely ex pats if you wouldn't mind.

We have been trying to find a place to rent long term for next year but as always we are told "it's too soon try nearer the time "

We did come for the winter two years ago but ended up getting scammed and lost lots of money.   We had to take anything we could find cos we where there with two Yorkies and no where to stay 😥

If any of you know how we can find a reliable source whom we can start our search we have tried all the estate agents

And rental places but again reach a dead end .

Thanks once again for reading about our plight any help would be very grateful.

Thanks.  Roy & Elaine.

If you are trying for long term why not look a little further from Benidorm and discover the real Spain? We live in the lovely coastal town of Dénia and wouldn't swap it for the world. Just outside Dénia is a rental specialist, Vacation Villas in La Zara. Suggest you email Lyn or Christine there?

Hi Teddy, Sorry for the slightly off topic reply, but I was just wondering how you got Your Yorkies to Benidorm ? We are Coming to Benidorm for a few Months soon, and we want to Bring our Westie with us, but the Prices for Transport seem to be Astronomical, IE Over £2000 for his transport there and back. Have you found a Cheaper way ? We don't really want to Drive all the way there and back.  Regards.....  Chris

Hi I am considering renting my home, I am English and want to go home, it is a

detached villa, ( we would call it a bungalow) in its own garden, gated, I have a little dog myself, so dog safe, I have renovated it so the en- suit and the other shower room are new, it has hot/ cold air con, and an open fire, 2 beds open kitchen lounge, 2 minuets walk to the beach, in Els Poblets. I haven't advertised it yet, also available to buy. It is 3 bedrooms but rented as a 2 bed, the main bedroom has a nearly new Laura Ashley Super King sized bed, the other bedroom has a nearly new double bed very comfortable, fitting wardrobes in both. South facing terrace, views of mountains, and palm trees.

Hello, can you tell me exactly where your bungalow is located please?

Also do you have photographs and what is the cost you are looking for to sell as we own a small property in Benidorm but want at least 2 bedrooms and we only have one.

Does your complex have a communal swimming pool?

Many thanks, Ron.

Hi Ron I have been trying to upload some photos, as a recovering technophobe no luck yet....els poblets beach side, if you find the Hotel Bichet there it is very close to it. It is 3 double bedrooms, As a private sale without out agents I want 220.000, no there is no pool, but space for one, cost to install around 10/12 thousand, the agents said if I had a pool it would be on the market for 250.000, so Put the price to reflect that and to make it attractive if someone wanted to take advantage of that situation, of course with a pool your renting options are very high, around 1,250 a week in the hight of the season. As I said we are just two minuets to the sea, for swimming, pools as I am sure you know are expensive to run, and no one uses them in the winter as the water gets so cold, for me with a little dog, that was a concern for me, but each to there own....it is not on an ubbanization, so no extra bills, and there are people living there all year so not isolated, the bus stops in front of the villa in front of mine to go into Denia if you didn't want to use a car, it is a flat straight road into Denia, so loads of people cycle,  your car is behind a locked front gate, as I said the house is detached, low manitances as 3 years ago I had all new electric, and plumbing, done by very good trades men, the aircon is only been in a year and still under garrentee, I have just had a new larger boiler put in with 7 year guarantee.... All new light fittings inside and out, ceiling fans in two bedrooms. I will try again to do photos a bit later today.  If this is of any interest to you Ron.

Kind regards Susie
