Good Luck with the move .. as for work .. remember to get a job with a formal contract or at least get in the system and become self-employed so you can access the Spanish NHS system.  private medical care plans are expensive.  Your EU EHIC card is for only emergency use when on holiday.  Find a good gestor to get you a NIE number and bank account and then you can look for work with confidence.  Then seriously think about learning the language .. a must!!!  So many people come to Spain believing it is easy but sadly it can be a bit of a shock .. the hours are longer and the pay far lower than the UK .. but if you can negotiate all of this then you will not regret the life here .. all the best !!
