Just started working in Benidorm..legally what a paper work chase..

I have worked all over the world..and Spain has to beat other places by a very large margin to be registered and legal.

To make it worse I don't want any benefits or financial help.

Has anybody else come across the same problem.

And yet the police and council are happier and quicker to fine restaurants and bars.

Take the vote.!!

Yes to make it easier to work in spain.

No to make it harder to work legally.

Apart from a bit of fun I don't really see the point of a poll and of course the vast majority here, including me, will neither be working nor seeking work but you're right about the bureaucracy.

Before coming to Spain we lived in France for 11 years and although French bureaucracy is traditionally thought difficult to negotiate, and in many ways is, it cannot hold a candle to the Spain.

In France there are no gestors and other than possibly taking a French speaking friend along if you need help with the lingo basically you have to do everything for yourself, and we did.

Here in Spain I must admit that we took the easy way out and paid people to do things but in many ways that was driven by expediency as not only was Brexit starting to make things difficult (still then March 29th) but on top of that we were planning a trip to OZ to visit our son for his 50th birthday but wanted to get everything in place in Spain first so time was of the essence.
