Hi Folks,  testing the waters to find out about leaving the UK NHS as an ambulance technician and moving to Spain to work in a similar role. Thoughts ,feelings and advice all welcomed.

Cheers 👍

Unless you are a European Union passport holder it is no longer easy for UK passport holders to move to Spain. For  more information ou may wish to read the contents of these links:

Since Brexit, all available work positions must be offered to an EU citizen first by law so its unlikely to be available to a UK passport holder.

I think for a role like this, it will be a pre requisite that you speak fluent Spanish? If you don’t, I doubt anybody would even contemplate considering you, even if there were positions available…

And maybe even Valenciano in the Comunidad Valenciana, ie; Provinces of Alicante, Castellón and Valencia.

Cheers, J
