Hi I am looking to move over to Benidorm. I am an experienced and fully qualified Barber. Can anyone let me know how I go about finding a job in my field of work please?

Thank you

Hi,

There are not many barbers shops in Benidorm and by using the term "Barbers" I assume it's gents hairdressing.

To find a job in a gents hairdressing salon you will need to have a good CV ready and do the legwork to all the local salons in Benidorm. You will not be offered a job over the internet.

The are literally hundreds of women's hairdressing salons with a shop on every other street and numerous mobile hairdressers at cheap rates.

Starting your own business is very expensive and requires loads of paperwork to obtain a licence from the town hall.

Can you speak Spanish?

Do you know the legalities of living in Spain such as healthcare and getting your NIE number?

Good Apartments are getting rare and expensive and you need to be available to view and put a deposit down on the same day otherwise it will be gone.

Have a short fact finding holiday here and look around for the best area that suits you and has employment.

Don't forget that Brexit could make a big difference to the requirements of living in Spain.

Best of luck.

Steve
