Have a read of this, Jim's guides - your complete guide to Spain

Spain has high unemployment and full contracts of employment are few and far between. All building trades are already over supplied here and restaurant work is low paid, with long hours and usually seasonal.

To live in Spain legally, as per Jim's guides, you have to prove you can support yourself financially and also have the first year's private medical insurance paid up front to become a resident. After 183 days, you automatically become tax residents.

Brexit will mean tighter border controls so it will become harder to live under the radar.

You will have a perfect opportunity to look for work while you are here and to calculate your accommodation and living costs. Have a lovely holiday but the general advice is to have enough money to cover all your expenses for a year.
