Hi Billy,
There has been hundreds of kitchen staff made redundant over the last year or so due to the covid problem and the city being closed down. I would expect those people would be re-employed as places open up.
Do you live here in Benidorm?

In that case Billy, you need to apply for a Visa at the Spanish embassy in the UK. You will need to have private healthcare cover and meet the income requirements.
When you get your Visa and come to Spain you can apply for residency.
