If you are under pension age you will need private health insurance, a Spanish bank account with enough money going in monthly to satisfy the requirements of the authorities that you will not become a burden on the state.
You will also need an NIE number. After 90 days living in Spain you will need to sign on the foreigners register at the local police station and get you residents card.
