Since Brexit anyone who has a UK passport will need to apply for and secure a work position before moving over to Spain. If you are successful with getting a job your prospective employer will then need to apply for a work visa on your behalf from the Spanish consulate in the UK.
All available work must be offered to an EU citizen first by law. I expect that there are qualified upholsterers looking for jobs within the EU.
To be able to move to Spain permanently you will need some sort of visa before you can apply for residency.
