Have you tried logging-in to www.icloud.com and choosing Find My Phone?

I agree with Pete. A friend recently lost her iPhone, did as he suggested, went to the location it came up with, rang the number from another phone, and found the phone tucked down the side of a settee they'd sat on in a furniture store.

And for anyone who's got an Android phone, always have location awareness turned on. Even if you only use the vanilla Android Device Manager, you can track the phone. I use something a bit more advanced, in case the phone is stolen.

Last time I tracked my wife's phone, when she went to Nueva Condomina with a friend, I was able to tell how long they spent in Primark, and how long they spent in the cafe.

Unfortunately too many people just don't know what their phone is capable of, and when they lose it they have to write it off instead of being able to recover it.

So spill the beans Jim, how long did she spend in Primark, and more importantly, how much stuff did she throw on the floor?

Pete, do I take it that you've been to Primark in Darlington, where there's more stuff on the floor than there is on the racks? I wasn't constantly monitoring, but about fifteen minutes.

Bob, I've no way of knowing; she said coffee and a snack, but she wasn't driving, so I have to take her word for it.

I do remember one day when she went to Elche on the train, and I was doing my routine check on the bank accounts. She's only just stepped off the return train when I met her and asked what she'd spent €40 on in Julian Lopez.

Technology does have some good points!

Not Primark Darlington Jim, but I can't Imagine that anything could be worse than the Oxford Street store.

Pete.
