It's gone. So many posts like this every week

Wallets
Bags
Expensive Sunglasses
Jewellery
4 Simple Benidorm Rules
1. Phone stays in the room and doesn't go.out with you
2. Jewellery stays at home
3. Never take a card out of a night. Likely you could get frogmarched to a cash point
4. Don't walk home alonext
Sorry

You make Benidorm sound like the Bronx - can’t be that bad as thousands visit and return there each year?!
Who is going to leave their phone at home on a night out, as everybody uses these for texting, phoning & camera?
Leaving a wallet at home too? Unless you’re in an exclusive bar, how do you pay for drinks/food etc...
I appreciate that you are only advising, but I think the best piece of advice is to be ultra careful, keep phones and wallets safe and stick to busy, well lit areas

I'm referring to the stags and hen cohort only. Who tend to leave their common sense at the airport.
If you reread my email I didn't say leave your wallet at home. My suggestion was cards, this is the risk area for those walking home on their own at 4 am in the morning. Which is quite a scary experience. So get your cash out before you go into town and make sure you have enough you don't need a wallet to buy a round you just need cash.
The advice is targeted at them, not the majority of visitors

I would try to find the taxi, ask another taxi man where you picked up the taxi, they usually work in the same area and same hours. They use to be nice and helpful
WOW, I have visited Benidorm so many times and my only bad experiences were to see drunk people arround making stupid things. Sure there is some bad people like everywhere. If your plan is to get so drunk I would agree, leave everything on the hotel/home with any value and tattoo your name and a phone contact somewhere so police/ambulance people know how to contact.
