Missing british man, Bryan Eady aged 77 has been in Benidorm from October 2022. He was due back in the uk on 31st December but did not arrive  I last spoke to him on 19th December and had no contact with him since. I am concerned as to his safety.

Hi Dawn,

Can you give a description of Bryan please.

Where was he staying, or which area, Poniente end or Lavante?

Did he mention any bars, clubs or restaurants?

It has been known for us to find "missing" people but it takes a little time.

I live in Benidorm and visit the expat bars etc so could ask around.

The levante area.

He's a British man who looks younger then his 77 years. He has dark hair, brown eyes & is about five foot eight. He frequents Joanne's bar and fosters.

I'm from Brian's home town have been here in Benidorm Since 10 December. Usually Brian drinks at our local,  Johanna (lily's) Bar, Calla Jaen. Strange on our usual daily visits not seen him. Kept asking "has anyone seen Brian lately ? ". Regretfully no one has.

Joanne's bar is a distance away from my usual expat bars but I will continue to ask around.

Have you contacted the hotel he was staying at?

We have known Brian two or three years now, and he was a regular afternoon customer in Johanna's bar. Not many a day he didn't turn up at a regular time between 4:00 and 5:00 pm. When we went home early October we said Cheerio to him and he said he'd still be here when we got back.  Sincerely hope you soon find him and he's okay.

Sorry for your loss...

In Spain, can you ask the police to do a "wellness check" as you can in other countries?
