There is no work

Schools are expensive

You need very costly health insurance for the entire family

Don't do it.

Keena I have lived in this area for many years, never had a holiday home but am a fiscal resident. Our daughters grew up here, one has her own business. She went to the local Spanish state school,so free although some schools still charge for books ,not too sure though after so many years. If you are working either for yourself or as a legal employee you will be covered by the NHS here as in UK.Enjoy your life in Spain.
