I have been reading that it is a Spanish custom to always where slippers in the house. I have tried to google this but cannot find any answers. Can anyone enlighten me please.

Be careful listening to other immigrants.
In most cities you will receive a pretty big fine for putting your 2 chairs on the sidewalk in front of your apartment-house.

When living in an apartment I think that it is necessary to wear soft slippers so that you do not disturb your neighbours in the apartment under yours.

I stayed in ground floor, Urbanova. Always nights in The " Chill out Bar"
I always had a head-ache, as the neighbour (above!) woke every day( 0600hrs) and walked with tacones for every day.....muchos recuerdos.. I bought slippers, but never used them! V
