Property wanted to rent: British and can´t get an all year rental in Benidorm
Hello all, I was wandering if anybody could help.
I am British and my wife is Spanish, we have a baby and live in west Spain. I am a resident of Spain and have been offered a full time job in Benidorm to start in September.
The idea is to find an all year rental in Benidorm or near Benidorm and this is proving to be almost impossible. Nearly all rentals are less than 12 months long, and the odd all year rental that pops up demands a salary 3 times the cost of the rental price which is impossible for us.
I am currently self employed in Spain and my net income is low because of the massive taxes and NI payments as self employed, but with the new job in September, thjs salary would be stable and ok. It seems estate agents have no interest in future income but only the last 3 payslips and this is a problem.
Private landlords are few and far between for all year rentals. We are basically looking for a 2 bedroom all year rental of up to 950 euros a month. Despite sounding a lot, its the cheapest actually you can find and there are barely none.
Even places away from Benidorm like la Nucia and Albir are just as expensive now and makes little difference price wise.
So, the aim of this post is if anybody knows somebody who has an all year rental from June onwards . Please let me know and thanks in advance
