Property wanted to rent: Looking for a long-term rental apartment in Benidorm
I have been reading up on a move to Benidorm (either for part of the year or completely). I am an Irish citizen and a retired schoolmaster.
I've been advised to rent an apartment to see whether this is something I might want to make permanent.
I've been to Benidorm a number of times and love the place!
I think renting is a sensible move for me in the first instance but there are not a huge number of apartments available for long-term rent as so many flat owners who rent out their flats make good money during the summer months. Average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in low season is between 500 and 600 Euros.
My reason for writing is to ask anyone knows of a rental agency where I can make specific enquiries. I haven't had too luck with Think Spain and Idealista as, yes, they advertise properties and email me with suggestions each day but never return email enquiries.
Steve (Tebo 53) has been very helpful and suggests going to Benidorm for a few days to approach agents directly.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
