Hi, I´m afraid under the circumstances, there are many bars going to be "lost".

Bars come and go all the time in Benidorm. The landlords here are not a charity and don't mind their buildings standing empty. It's highly likely your mate will lose the bar.

If your mate was properly registered and has a written contract - he may just get government support. I don't know the details but if your Spanish is up to it I would start looking on the intranet to see just what the stimulus package contains.

Was the bar ever open under his direction?
