Good afternoon, My brother has not contacted any of the family for a few months now and it is unusual for him to miss a weekly telephone.

I did ask someone that is just home from Benidorm if they had met him as they usually meet up when the visit Benidorm.

The last place we know where he stayed was a caravan site near the outdoor market. Then one of his friends phoned to say he had died, but he wasn’t sure it was in Benidorm he died. All I can do is send his details to you in the hope that we find out if he has passed or just moved his camper van.
If he has passed in Benidorm would it be possible for you to ask at Funeral Directors for information please.

His Name is John Christie Menzies, D.O.B. 31/07/47, originally from Scotland

Thank you in anticipation
from Jean C Brown

Hello

No one ( police, funeral directors etc.) will give this  kind of information  to someone randomly by phone.

As immediate family, you need to make these enquiries yourself, at least you could send proof that you are  related if requested to do so.... I assume they will be Spanish speakers who reply.

Can you post more information about your brother on here? , It seems you have the phone number of the friend who phoned. If so, ask him for more recent information, maybe other  English speaking friends know if/where he died.

Until you get proof, you could report him as a missing person to the Benidorm police but you will need a translator to  make these  type of calls for you, unless you speak spanish  yourself..

Cheers

Hi,

Do you have any photos of John or a detailed description please?

I live in Benidorm and will certainly start asking around although I don't know anyone personally from that camp site. (Camping Villasol)
