How straightforward (or not) is it to renew your Padron; do I need to go on the Cita Previa (?) site to make an appointment or can I go to the Town Hall to request a new one (Padron) or go to the Town Hall to request an appointment to get a new one! I never seem to get anywhere on the Cita Previa website, it just says no appointments no matter what date I click on. TIA

It depends upon your town hall's rules at present. I know that here in Almoradi we have to make appointments in order to enter our town hall at present, however I have seen information where some town halls do not have such measures.

There is a town hall satellite office next door (other side of car park) to the Mad Munk bar. You could call in there to arrange an appointment. We get our Padron updated there.

Ah, I think that's near us...thank you, I will try there for an appointment! Thank you.
I am after residency in Spain and I own an apartment in Benidorm and I have a bank account (3yrs, Bankia) and a NIE number and Padron , I have a €700 pension each month plus I have €400,000 private savings , apart from private health insurance what else would I require for the residency application.

Take a look at the Tips and Guides on this site as well as the Citizens Advice Bureau Spain website as they may have answers for you.

Eddie, I think you will qualify for residency. Make sure you have full healthcare paid for a full year then make your application.
You may need a visa.

Hi, I have just made an appointment to renew my padron, must be made on line, address in window of office next to mad monk, no appointments at that office, so booked one at La Cala office, first available 8th March. Then I recieved an e-mail moving it to the City Hall same day, seem's this is the only way to get one, good luck

I can never get ANY dates via that website; have tried the other venues listed on there as well but get the same thing NO HOURS AVAILABLE.
All other dates, just says coming soon....when is that then?
Guess it's a question of just trying every day?
Thanks,
Sonja
