How much can earn before paying tax in Spain if you are resident?

Depending on your personal circumstances and global income you pay more, less or nothing.

I posted a link to the details but the OP didn't respond. As he also hadn't included the magic word in his question, I deleted my reply.

When I was growing up my Mam and Dad instilled in me to always say Please and Thank you ,were necessary.

That teaching has stayed with me through my life .

The old saying still holds true. "It costs Ya nowt to be polite "

Thanks Jim

Jim, how very "British". You are redeemed. Have a jolly good day, please. V

Me too. Manners, the correct knife & fork, bread placed on a side-plate ( never on the table)etc. Here in Spain, a bag 'o crisps served on a plate, & a serving of respect. It's amazing, globally how manners differ. I still don't burp after eating food with company. (Oh, & sorry, slightly "off-topic." . my apologies. ) V

Hi Kenny

Welcome to the forum.

I’m afraid I can’t answer your tax question but Jim Taylor has written some useful guides to living  in Spain which include guides on taxation. You should see them all listed together on the forum page.

The original post was 11pm on 28/8.  Can we actually be sure the response had been read by 6pm on 29/8?   Just 19 hours later?

Thank you but you are replying to a question posed over a year ago and I was not the one asking the tax question.
