This is a  very recent parliamentary Covid debate in  UK parliament. Its very interesting and  worth a listen to get facts from the horses mouth.

The main MP orator thinks the best "vaccine against covid is to get covid" I. e natural immunity

Google.." UK parliament vaccine debate." Dr. John Campbell.

Dr. John Campbell has been discredited many times, I'm surprised people still view and share his inaccurate analysis and misleading conclusions.  By all means, watch the debate that took place in Parliament on 24 October 2022, led by Elliot Colburn, MP, and make up your own mind, but do not trust Dr. Campbell's commentary - even in the introduction to his video on the debate, he says, "I'm unable to comment on a lot of the detail here because of my own ignorance on this matter" !

Here are other examples of Dr. Campbell's "ignorance":

Hi Kimmy,

Your are a well respected forum member for good reason. You were supportive of me when I was getting the NLV.

I would at least think that you and others would acknowledge from the tone of the debate and from the people on here who speak out that the vaccines are not what the government and media portray.

Why do you think that there has been a big drop off in the people taking booster. No, I won't provide a link, people can find out themselves.

When Dr. John first started utubes he was very much an advocate of vaccines but later when finding out the truth he became suspicious and then that old nut shell was used to liable him a nut case conspiralist.

It's strange that many of these conspiralist theories are now truth,

 i. e The vacced can't catch covid and they can't spread it. OH, yes they can.

I'm sorry we disagree on this.

Hi Cisco,

I haven't called Dr. John Campbell "a nut case conspiralist", but he isn't an expert in the matters he insists on discussing.  As he has introduced his own video on the Parliamentary debate by saying he can't comment on it because of his own ignorance on the matter, do you not think to yourself, "So why make the video at all?".  Could his motivation for making such videos be driven by his ego, having amassed 2.55m subscribers?  Or perhaps it's the money he's making from a share of the advertising revenue from his 564m views?  Do you know how much money a prolific YouTuber can make from their channel?  Even without merchandising, Dr. Campbell could be making over £100k per year, simply by tapping into the fear of others.  Have you read the disclaimer on Dr. Cambell's YouTube channel?  Thousands of his videos, a book, eBooks and Podcasts - and none of them are peer reviewed.

As for "The vacced can't catch covid and they can't spread it", not even the pharma companies that manufactured the vaccines made those claims.  At the beginning of the roll-out, Pfizer claimed 93% efficacy against Covid-19, AstraZeneca around 91%, and others trailing behind with some as low as 65% efficacy.  Unless a vaccine offers 100% protection, it can never be claimed that it prevents people from catching or spreading a virus.  Claims were made that the vaccines reduced the likelihood of catching Covid-19, but most importantly, they significantly reduce cases of people becoming severely ill and requiring hospitalisation.  Expert virologists also warned of the possibility of the original SARS-CoV-2 virus mutating - and it has, many times.  In response to this, some of the Covid vaccines have been adapted to protect against the more recent strains.  This is exactly what has to be done for the 'flu vaccine each year.

It doesn't concern me that we disagree on these matters, but I am concerned that Dr. Campbell, who openly admits that he is not qualified to comment, continues to do so.  I don't take issue with your opinions - you're entitled to them - but I do take issue with your choice of source material.

Kind regards,

Kim

Well said,  I agree entirely. I think a lot of people just don't seem to understand how any  vaccine works.

My theory about some "non believers" is that the huge number of deaths frightens them and the conspiracy theory somehow make them feel better, as they can then believe that it's all made up. It's a way of not having to face the truth, which some people find difficult to face up to. It applies to all sorts of beliefs, not just those relating to Covid.

But that's just my thoughts.

I prefer to be a realist.

Whet is undisputed is the fact that by Pfizer’s own admission the vaccines were never tested for protection against transmission, but Pfizer in Their interest let the narrative run, thereby demonising anyone who had Concerns about taking a vaccine that had no peer reviewed  long term effects.

Whatever your views the coercion and alienation of anyone questioning it was not right,

My experience in this is that I caught Covid and after about a week of slight discomfort I was okay,no big deal,Had worse flu.I take all the vaccines I get offered,Covid, flu, shingles etc as I am totally aware that whilst they will not stop me catching all the various viruses they do protect me from the worst effects ,and this has proved to be the case over the years, going back to as a child being lined up at school and being given all the vaccines as they became available for all the major killer diseases ,before parents could make " choices".I was under the impression everybody knew that .

Extremely well said Kimmy 👏. As for my experience my wife has cancer so my youngest son his wife and his 2 kids all got the vaccines before travelling from Somerset to Belfast to visit us this 18 months after the first wave of covid. And even then they never entered our house and we socialised outside. My other son his wife and 2 kids the same although they live 10 minutes from us here in Belfast. My daughter her husband and her 2 children they are 18 and 20 decided not to get the vaccines because my son in law was truly believing in all the conspiracy theories.  Again they have not been in our house since covid started. Every single one of them all caught COVID with my 2 sons and their families having minor effects. My son in law and daughter and granddaughter all unvaccinated had really bad symptoms in fact my son in law was so worried and felt so bad he went to hospital and was kept in for 2 days. Now I know and understand everyone is an individual and you cannot say for sure that if they had had the vaccine they/he may not have had the bad reactions to covid but it is not insignificant is it? By the way my daughter is still suffering from the affects with her lungs and is still receiving treatment. They have all went for their flu vaccines so cannot understand the mindset!
