I have 1 year old Toyota CHR Hybrid. I am charged 115 euro per year. It's an eco friendly car. I asked suma office why not cheaper. They said if I lived in rojales or Almoradí the suma would be very little. It seems its up to My town hall in Benijófar to tell suma to change. I went to town hall
They knew nothing about how to get sorted. Does anyone know what counciler or political person is over Benijófar.

Apply to your council dept. "Trributos".

Car tax is not a flat rate universally here, it is set by individual Ajuntamiento. Ours, for example, is 34 euros, yes, sorry, read it and weep!

If you don’t agree with your local council, then make sure you use your vote next month.
In Guardamar our IBI is high but our ITVM is low - swings and roundabouts!

Hi my holiday home is in Benijofar my Suma for the car is 115 Euro a year, no difference my car is a 14 year old car,
As for the Emissson sticker it's 5 Euro in post office this is a government Tax Suma not the village or town, Covid is the problem Spain needs money 😂
I have a house in Wales and my tax on it for the year is £2,040p year my car tax on a 3 year old car is £175 a year and if I go to Bristol I get Emissson tax per time £9, so I get Screwed in England
