Renting property during Covid restrictions

I live in Lanzarote and am a Spanish resident permanente; I am of British nationality. I am likely to sell my large house soon.

I’ve been considering the Costa Blanca, perhaps Benijofar or Playa Flamenca to rent for up to 6 months whilst I look for a property to buy. Can anyone direct me to the latest Covid restrictions ( & statistics) I need to plan my arrival, hiring a car, staying in a hotel or hostal & being able to view rentals. (I’m retired with 2 shy cats)

There is a Facebook page run by the Guardia Civil on a voluntary basis which is a mine of information about current restrictions, and other stuff as well, on the Costa Blanca.

btw, I don't really know Benijofar, but it's certainly very different to Playa Flamenca!

We’ve lived in Benimar (adjoining Benijofar) for almost two and a half years and have absolutely no regrets. Many bars, restaurants, supermarkets in nearby Quesada and Rojales too, lots of friendly people of all Northern European nationalities as well as Spanish! 15 min drive to beaches of Torrevieja and Guardamar and on,y 30 mins from Alicante airport.

We’ve lived in Benijofar since 2019 after doing extensive research of where we wanted to live here on the Costa Blanca. We love it! 💕

Easily accessible for beaches and the motorway and airport, plenty of bars and restaurants, banks, a library, great farmacia and a friendly combination of Spanish and other nationalities. 😎💕💃🏻
