Sorry once again, this would include running a car, which we would have brought outright so no finance, this is purely on running a Villa or Townhouse and going for a pint, paying Electricity, gas,  water, health care, anything else that anyone can think of, just living really.

Just take friends (it's say for example Real people) from Ecuador 1. Engineer, 2. Doctor. Both work for little money in Spain (bar work) & sends more money back to home in South America. Now let´s budget!

Thanks Kim, really helpful, a lot of the costs you gave me some i knew of some i didnt, funeral etc, i think i have budgeted for the getting over there costs with a budget of around 10k, hope i can do it cheaper, we are a couple with a dog looking to get a 3bed property so our children, grandkids can stay when they want, this is massive for us so we really want to get it all right and your reply and others has helped settle some of my concerns, thank you all for your contribution.

One last thing Kim, do you both have any regrets about your move, we are both 60 but by the time we move will be 61, its something that we both want and i know you cant advise us as we are all different but we have that what if this happens what if that happens the good on on shoulder saying go for it the bad on the other shoulder saying dont do it, dont want to put you in a spot but your post has been so helpful your experience of going through it all would be appreciated.
