Thank you - is this for the kitchen cupboards?

Hi, just jumped on to this topic quite late as I've not been on much. We are moving over a week tomorrow and was quite interested to hear the replies as we are in a similar situation. We have just retired early but my wifes personal pension cannot be drawn on unitl 2025. So in the meantime we will be living on the exchange (which is quite poor at the moment!) of £2000 a month which at the current rate is around €2300 a month. Our biggest outgoing will be our daughters school fees which is €560 a month. But I've done a list of what I think we'll need roughly with no rent or mortgage.
Car insurance €449 (38 month)
Car tax €250? (21 month)
House suma £482 (41 month)
Pool cleaner €60
Electric bill €200
Gas bill (60)
Fuel €80?
School fees €560
Internet/Tv €20?
Health insurance €220
While these amounts come in way above what some will pay, it's just what I'm estimating for us. This is without food or maintenance/problems with the car. In 3 years once we are able to draw on my wife's pension, we will be a lot better off.
Another thing to think about though is €1500 a month isn't enough to satisfy the Spanish authorities that you can keep yourself. You must have an income of €35,000 euros as a couple to get your visa. But the amount can be in savings so if you have this amount sitting in the bank from a house sale then you can do it that way. But beware!! If you sell in the uk and move over to Spain in the same year......you'll be liable to capital gains tax on your uk property to the Spanish tax office if you move over too early. You need to move over with less than 183 days left of the Spanish tax year ie around the 3rd of July or after!
If I can be of any more help, please feel free to message me. :-)
