Hi all we keep looking at places to live full time in Spain and we were wondering how it would be in Benijofar. We have looked at properties on line and some videos of the area. We have looked at places in Monte Azul and the town of Benijofar what is it like to live there? Does the area get the floods like last year in nearby area?

Thanks for reading regards Ian

My partner and I moved here permanently in Feb 2019 and have absolutely no regrets, we are in Benimar between Benijofar and Rojales so can walk to both and Quesada as well. There are many different types of properties for sale and after the lockdown likely to be more.

Urbanisations we are in is known as Rojales Hills so no real issues during the gota fria other than being stuck indoors.

We bought our house through Casas Manuel and cannot praise them highly enough, not helping with the house sale but also happy to answer and help with any issues we all come across in such a big change.

Good luck. Rob.

I know many local people who have used Casas Manuel and that’s the first time I’ve ever heard any one unhappy!

We moved to Benijofar last October and we love  it here, we actually live on the Monte Azul urbanisation. As it is on a hill we don’t get any flooding so no need to worry about that.

We also purchased our property through Casas Manuel two years ago. Found them to be extremely helpful and professional throughout the whole process, never pushy. We still pop in if we need help or advice. We would never have found Daya Vieja without them.

Definitely not a “lucky one” as I said I know many who used and continue to happily recommend Casas Manuel!

Very surprised at a negative comment about Casa Manuel

I used them to buy a property in Benijofar, they are certainly not pushy, we spent a couple of days with Mike who took us to various properties, he helped us decide on the right property for us by listening to our needs. At no time did I feel pressured to make a decision, the rest of the team in the Benijófar office have also been very helpful, offering advice, helping me set up a bank account and offering support

I can see a trend here Casas Manuel being defended. We hope to be in Benijofar in September providing we are allowed for a month. We have watched them on tv so we will be contacting them when we are there. Some of their homes are our favourites so we will want to see those up close if they are still available. Any recommendations for lawyers?

Thoroughly recommend Manuel Antonio Pérez Manresa at [email protected]

He and his team have been invaluable to us before and since we moved to live in Benijofar. They speak good English and can help with house conveyancing, residencia applications, driving licence exchange, SIP card and other legal matters,

He also does our tax advice and returns as he is a qualified accountant and lawyer (joint qualification here in Spain for good abogados!)

His offices are in the main Benijofar street, Federico Garcia Lorca, no 53

Tell him that Ron and Margaret recommended him! 😎
