Cheers

Hi Glenn, are you suggesting that you unofficially move in and live in someone’s property without paying any utility bills or rent, but would like to carry out some DIY for them in lieu of paying them rent. Can’t see how that would work, that’s not exactly renting a property which requires some means of legal documentation, contracts etc. It’s risky enough allowing people to rent your property at the best of times, squatters and so on. I can’t really see someone just saying even though I have no idea who you are, go ahead and move in, but while you are there do some DIY for me. I also assume, based on your statement that you are looking for some winter sunshine that you are not resident in Spain, and probably don’t hold EU passports which could further complicate things. But, in saying all of the above I wish you both the very best of luck!.

uk passports

Hello

These passports will only allow you to arrive as a visitor for up to 90days in a rolling 180days - your passport will be stamped on arrival.

You would need a visa to allow you to work legally these days & if, you found a job your employer would need to apply for a visa on your behalf. The job would have to be offered to all EU citizens first.... there would also be other hurdles to try & overcome.

Things have changed post Brexit & the UK became a 3rd nation country.

You could,of course just come for a 1/2 months holiday & hopefully find some sun without the complications

Cheers
