Sauerkraut, Where can I but large glass containers to make sauerkraut make

Hi,

I would like to start making sauerkraut again and need some large glass bottles, 2 to 5 litres. I bought glass containers from IKEA in UK before but wondered if there was somewhere more local than a trip to IKEA at Murcia.

BY it ready made at any ALDI shop (repollo fermentado) made in Germany. Your nearest seem to be in Ciudad Quesada.

Most large Asian homeware shops sell all types of glass containers.

Also perhaps try supermarkets like Carrefour or Alcampo homeware sections.

Hi,

I buy my large preserving jars from Casa on Av. Cortes Valenciana in Torrevieja. Mine are 1&1/2 litre but they may do larger ones. Failing that there's always good old Amazon :-)
