I will bear that in mind thank you Alex 馃槑

I've not come accross a brand of video doorbell yet that can be hard wired and doesn't rely on WiFi.... as in sending the callers video image to our mobile phones and tablets.... Something to check out next week when we are back over in Benimar

Have a look at Amazon Blink for your wifi cameras. Great quality, simply to use and I seem to remember free cloud access rather than paid subscription.

Hope it helps

I seem to recall reading somewhere it was illegal in Spain to set up a camera looking at public space, it might be worth checking to make sure your not.

Don't believe. Otherwise every camera, cctv, mobile phone, door phones etc would be outlawed. Privacy (eg) towards private property, gardens, windows. Etc. Yes. Villas.

Might be worth reading this thread then, it would appear cctv is frowned on and storing video as well

It might just be worth running the idea past the local authority and the police before installing. Seems silly to risk a fine for the sake of 拢23

Yes,  certainly worth asking with no other problems going on. They'll give you a definitive answer. Villas.
