Hi there

We are looking at Benissa as a place to start a new life with our daughter. I wondered if anyone can advise on the town as we have seen some townhouses that suit our budget and wondered if this would be ideal as short drive to the coast with a village life feel?

Kindest Regards

Hi 👋

Good luck with your move! Some exciting times ahead 😊

I have a friend who lives in benissa & also specialises in helping people to relocate... her name is jo Alderton & her website is relocating2. I live in xabia which is about 20 mins from where you want to be. We've only been here for 3 months, actually feels a lot longer! I have 3 children and 2 are at school, I can't help you with your area because I don't know it very well. But if you have any other questions feel free to pm me and I'll help if I can 😊

We are waiting for finalisation on a finca just outside Benissa, fingers crossed we could be moved out in a month or so, we have a 4 year old girl that we are putting straight into the state school. Benissa has everything we were looking for, coast close by yet the real Spain away from the tourist havens on your doorstep. It won't be easy but we will make it work.

Good luck with your search

Hi my partner &I bought an apartment in Benissa ladt year should be moving over in April. It is a lovely town very Spanish , people I have spoken to all seem to love it. Although the beach is a drive away it is stunning. We also used Jo Alderton she is amazing. Definitely have a chat with her.

Good luck with the move maybe see you there

Hiya Mona

We would love Benissa and seems to be 10-15 mins to the sea, thats fine. We are also looking at Pego too as property seems cheaper for us.

We are being guided by the budget with 2 dogs and a 3 year old we need a house really. Plus i need a room to work from home. But 15 mins to the sea is no biggy when your living there i guess.

Sio its between Benissa and Pego at this moment in time. Still looking constantly, its tiring, We want a social life as we havent really been out sisnce baby was born, so we want to go out of an evening and take our daughter, so close to cafes, bars etc, park for little one and hopefully entertainment at the weekend, We shall see how it pans out

We have a house in Adsubia but spend our time between there and Pego which is 5 mins away. We love the area, its very friendly and has all the amenities that we need. Good luck with the hunt. We used Evaristo at Ortola Inmobiliaria. They are based in Pego and have an international website. He was super efficient and not pushy which would have been a big turn off for us. One of the reasons for posting this was to let you know that I heard a few weeks ago that there were a few apartments available in 'Green Paradise' which is a lovely very small development on the edge of the town. It is super secure for small children and has two communal swimming pools in the grounds. We have friends that live there but there was nothing avilable when we looked but understand that there may be some now.

Good luck :-)

I can also highly recommend Joanne Alderton of Aldertons of Spain !!! She will help you in any regards you might have when you want to move to Benissa.
