Hi

Do you have any of the large street bins near you

We bought a fully furnished place in Playa Flamenca last June

Ended up ditching about 95% of it

We would simply take anything that might be useful down to the bins but leave it in the road

By we got back with the next load a man with a van had already come and cleared away the previous

Cost us nothing

And hopefully somebody more in need is getting the benefits of what we didn’t want

Tip - amazing how much you can move with an “old lady style” shopping trolley

Hope this helps

Grahame

No one at the moment as Spain is in a partial lockdown.

Thanks RayD.    I thought there could be a house contents collection without actually meeting or touching anyone.

Can you make it a condition of completion that you have vacant possession?

Let the vendors get rid of the stuff.

What I have done in the past is put a notice on the bins, in Spanish, saying what is available and that it's free at número nn. Within an hour a man in a white van is outside!

That sounds a great idea. Thanks for that.
