Hi Im a UK citizen and arrived in Spain at the beginning of this year and want to apply for residency. Does anyone know for sure - what the situation will be after 31st January for Brits ? Theoretically nothing changes during the transition period and EU citizens in the UK have been given until June 2021 to register. But I’ve come across nothing definite about UK residents in Spain.

Are they immigration lawyers or agencies in Benissa/Moraira that can help ?

During the transition period nothing should change.

Plenty of people around to help you through the process, you don't need an immigration lawyer.

Just hope that the EU Parliament approve the withdrawal agreement, otherwise there won't be a transition period.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

Given the concern that several MEPs have expressed so far about Boris and citizens' rights, I rather think that the idea of reciprocal agreement is the last thing that's likely to happen.
