Have any expat pensioners applied for "social bono", it allows for a reduction in electric bills. We have been told by Iberdrola that we need a certificate from the Spanish  social security. Can anybody please give us  advice on how to apply for this?

Kind regards.

Dave.

It's only available to Spanish pensioners who require a certificate of pension from Spanish Social to prove quaqlification.

Thank you for your response, however we were told by Iberdrola that we could apply for this certificate via information from U.K. Social, then to Spanish system. Your answer sounds about right.

Kind regards.

Dave.

I tried, but you are means tested, and probably might not qualify. The limit is very low
